  1. B2B-only and customer eligibility

By placing an order, the customer confirms that they are acting as a business, research institution, laboratory, commercial purchaser, or institutional buyer and are not ordering as a consumer.

Peptide Point reserves the right to review orders before acceptance and to request suitable evidence of business status, institutional affiliation, or the intended research purpose. This may include information relating to the company, institute, laboratory, business email address, industry, VAT ID, or other suitable evidence.

Orders that are evidently placed by consumers or for private purposes may be rejected or cancelled.

  1. Subject matter of the contract and research-only notice

The products offered through Peptide Point are intended exclusively for research and information purposes.

The products are not intended for human or animal consumption, medical use, diagnosis, treatment, or therapy.

Peptide Point does not provide medical advice or recommendations regarding dosage, administration, reconstitution, or use.

Before ordering, possessing, storing, transferring, or using the products, the customer is responsible for determining whether this is permitted under the applicable local, national, and European laws and regulations.

  1. Formation of the contract

The presentation of products in the online store does not constitute a legally binding offer, but a non-binding invitation to place an order.

By submitting an order, the customer makes a binding offer to purchase the products contained in the shopping cart.

Peptide Point may accept this offer by expressly confirming it by email, issuing a payment request, sending a shipping confirmation, or delivering the goods.

Peptide Point reserves the right to reject orders without providing reasons, particularly where there are doubts regarding B2B status, the research purpose, legal permissibility, or safe use.

  1. Prices and payment

The prices displayed in the online store at the time of the order apply.

All prices are stated in euros. Where VAT applies, it will be shown in accordance with statutory requirements.

The available payment methods are displayed during checkout. For advance payment or bank transfer, the order will be shipped only after payment has been received in full.

  1. Delivery and shipping

The delivery area, shipping methods, delivery times, and shipping costs are set out in the shipping policy and the information displayed during checkout.

Delivery times are non-binding unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Peptide Point is entitled to make partial deliveries insofar as this is reasonable for the customer.

  1. Retention of title

The delivered goods remain the property of Peptide Point until payment has been made in full.

  1. Returns and withdrawal

As Peptide Point sells exclusively to business and institutional customers, no statutory consumer right of withdrawal applies. No voluntary contractual right of withdrawal is granted.

The separate withdrawal and return terms for business customers apply.

  1. Defects and transport damage

The customer is required to inspect the delivery immediately upon receipt.

Transport damage, missing quantities, incorrectly delivered items, or obvious defects must be reported without delay by email to support@peptide-point.de. Where possible, photographs of the packaging and affected products must be included.

Mandatory statutory rights relating to defects remain unaffected.

  1. Storage, handling, and customer responsibility

The customer is responsible for the proper storage, handling, and use of the products within the scope of permitted research purposes.

Peptide Point accepts no responsibility for damage, loss, or legal violations resulting from improper storage, improper handling, unintended use, or use outside the research-only purpose.

  1. Liability

Peptide Point has unlimited liability for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, limb, or health.

In cases of ordinary negligence, Peptide Point is liable only for a breach of essential contractual obligations. In such cases, liability is limited to the foreseeable loss or damage typical of the contract.

Liability under mandatory statutory provisions remains unaffected.

  1. No medical or therapeutic statements

Product information, blog posts, research information, and other website content are provided exclusively for general information and research purposes.

They do not constitute medical advice, health advice, a therapeutic recommendation, or a recommendation for use in humans or animals.

  1. Applicable law

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, to the exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG), insofar as legally permissible.

  1. Place of jurisdiction

If the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is the registered place of business of Peptide Point, insofar as legally permissible.

  1. Final provisions

If any provision of these General Terms and Conditions is or becomes wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions will remain unaffected.

Amendments and additions to these terms must be made in text form unless a stricter form is required by law.
